The games coming out in 4 days, so its probably too late, but are there any nifty pre-order freebies like with Diamond/Pearl?
None that I know of. I pre-ordered mine months ago, and they never gave me anything. Gamestop/EB doesn't have anything on their website, either. You might check places like Best Buy.
There might be an added bonus in the case, as was the case with Colosseum. (In the US you could get Jirachi, in Jpn you could get Celebii, and in EU you got diddley-squat) Have a disk that allows you to download Dialgia or Palkia other super-rare pokemon to your Battle Revoloution save game or Diamond/Pearl game.
Are they including rental pokemon with BR for a battle mode? That was the worst thing about colesseum, you could only use about 3 presest teams of 6 for each category, rather than Pokemon Stadium's complete pokedex of useable monsters.

Speaking of backwards-ness...I've heard rumors that if you play the original theme song from the anime backwards, it says stuff. Not exactly sure what, though.

They were pretty ambiguous on the online play, but I remember hearing the Japanese version didn't require friend codes to play online, is this confirmed? Also, are we only going to be able to play with people in our region?
