Today at Target I almost bought a Hot Wheels semi with a helicopter, just because it's cool looking and made of diecast.

It occured to me then to save my money for the Titanium Optimus. But I still felt like I needed to buy something remotely related(metal truck).

Ever buy something you really didn't need, but bought it because nothing else was available yet?

yeah sometimes if i go out hunting and dont fine what I am looking for I feel the need to justify the trip somehow and not go home empty handed so I will at least pick up something...but I have been getting better with that.

I LOVE Stitch from the Disney movie, he's such a unique character. So, if I can't find a TF I'll venture into the baby aisle to see if they have any Stitch stuff animals. More then likely there is never any there, but if there is and there is no TFs, I usually pic up the stuffed animal. :lol

All the time. I have a box of crap that I bought becaue I couldn't find anything else. Most of it is McFarlane strangely enough.

However I have gotten better. I avoided the "Scrapmetal" Exo-Force Lego exclusive because I couldn't justify spending $20 on a lego robot that transforms the exact same as a $6 transformer I already own.

Sometimes I get a TF that Im not really interested in, even if they dont got the one I want. Then I later regret getting what I got because I find what Im lookin for, and am out of cash. This happens if I go to a card shop also, I buy lots of Magic the Gathering cards.

I've done that with TFs that aren't on my to buy list. Such as basic Cybetron Scattorshot. I couldn't find Armorhide that day, so I purchased Scattorshot.

I do this with most basics.

That's how I ended up collecting Star Wars, Marvel/DC, Legos, Gundam, etc is from getting that 'filler' toy t ohold me off until some new TF's come out.
Some of it's pure impulsive buying though. Hate going all the way just to leave empty handed.

Uh oh, just bought some Sigma 6 & SWTF's!!

I usually just sigh and walk out the door.

Unless I see another TF I'm somewhat interested in.

Occassionaly, but I'm pretty good about it. I picked up two SD gundams onces, and they're cool but kinda pointless. I guess most of my zoids were like that too, but they were good fun to build.

I pretty much stick to TF's... but the impulse temporary buy is how I ended up with SWTF Darth Vader, Universe Night Slash Cheetor, and Universe Frostbite. Didn't really want these but there wasn't anything else out at the time.

On a totally unrelated subject... Anyone want a SWTF Darth Vader, Universe Night Slash Cheetor, or Universe Frostbite? ;)

I grabbed a couple of Gundam SD kits aswell Before because I Had money and there was nothing else I liked.

During Armada, whenever I went Into a store that carried Armada stuff, I'd buy a deluxe, unless they only had figures I already Owned.
This lead me to pick up Hot Shot, Smokescreen, Sideway's, and once, Scavenger just for the sheer hell of buying something, Oh, And Final Battle Prime for £15.

Energon was easy to resist, as their basic's I didn't like, Wouldnt buy repaints, and nowhere stocked anything other than Rodimus, Demolisher, Snowcat, Hot Shot and Inferno.

Cybertron, because shop's had nothing else, I Bought Scout's Overhaul and Scattoshot, and Deluxe Snarl *sigh* and nearly bought Dark Skorponok for £20 in Argos' sale , but luckily i avoided it.

I'm getting better at resisting, largely because I can't afford to buy stuff.
