Those are the original DX9 seekers. I plan to eventually get the pocket toys Coneheads to go with them

I would. I think the plastic on my shockwave feels better than my MFT figures. Great value.

Does yours have super tight elbows like mine? Mine feel like they might break sometime. Makes me scared to touch him

Yep, mine is going in the trash! Mushroom peg sheared completely off when I was trying to take the elbow apart to sand it down. Oh well, at least he was cheap. Word to everyone, watch out for that peg. Barely any pressure broke it! Does that area need movement to transform? Was thinking of glueing
it. Haven't even had a chance to transform him before it broke on me.

Damn, I was going to transform him. I loosened mines elbow screw. Didn't help one bit.

Where are you getting these for $12? I don't see them on eBay for that price.

I think the purple part of the elbow extends too far and rubs against the grey hinge. Trying to get the elbow out to sand everything is what caused the break. Pretty bad defect there

Ok so after getting the elbow apart I found the problem. There isn't enough room in between the grey elbow hinge and the purple plastic. They would rub on each other and cause stress to the joint. Shaving some of the purple plastic helped ease it and allowed the elbow to bend much easier. As for the broken piece, I fused it so now he no longer has a bicep swivel. Not sure if that joint is needed for transformation but I wasn't going to display him that way anyway. This defect should have been caught by pocket toys. Oh well

I noticed the forearms where cutting into the bicep on mine. It's not noticeable until you get really close.

I posed mine and put him on the shelf. Leaving it alone for now.

On a whim I picked this guy up... with Newage stuff, my collection is downsizing (as in size , not in quantity!) and I was never a fan of the violet elbows and thighs of the MFT KO. My Pocket Toys Shockwave is fine in Qc. Yes, the elbows were a bit stiff on first handling, but they got smoother with some careful repetitions. Just to cover all bases I did unscrew at the elbow.. you can indeed give it more room, but just loosening the screw isn't enough, you need to physically pull the piece away from the other one, and then re-screw it a little looser. Anyway, like I said, it wasn't even a real problem on mine.

The plastic feels in line with all the other Pocket Toys stuff I have. It obviously feels a bit more flimsy than the MFT, but then again it is 15-20% smaller so the pieces are going to be more thin. I think he's fine, especially for the price.
