Minor/Repaint: Pledge floorpolish discoloration

    Hi folks!

    Not sure if this is the right place to ask. Mods, feel free to move this thread if it is deemed inappropriate here.

    I was just transforming my Buster Optimus and noticed he had what almost looked like rusty spots on his windscreen shades. I checked the front grill and it almost completely changed into a yellow/gold-ish hue.

    I covered his chrome parts in Pledge about a year and a half ago. So far he's the only one I've noticed it on but I fear for my MP Ratchet, Metals Rattrap and any other figure I might've given the Pledge treatment.

    Has anyone had a similar experience?

    Is there anyway to remove the floor polish without damaging the chrome?

    Any help would be tremendously appreciated!

    I've had no issues with floor polish and use it a lot (as most of us do). The great news is it's water soluble so just rinse it with water and you're good to go.
