2008 Bumblebee is impossible to find. Why? FUCKING SCALPERS. I have been to countless shops and every time I am greeted with 1 - 2 Arcees and Dreadwings, but not a single Bumblebee. Meanwhile ebay is FLOODED with them, all selling for $50 or more. I am losing. I'm going to flip out. SOMEBODY please help me calm down. FUCKING SCALPERS DIE DIE DIE FUCK!
Was lucky to get one of the very first when BBTS had them for 11.99. With the amount of releases this thing has (stand alone, two pack with Prime and two pack with old Bumblebee], I think he'll be flooding the shelves in a few weeks.
I'll go and see if there are any this weekend. My area seems to get stuff the last in Australia. If I can find two I'll let you know. (Do you still need Mach Kick and Longrack, too?) If I can't find any myself...I'll fricking import, but Japan won't get new 'Bee til much later on
Patience. He'll come around, he is available alone, and soon in a pair of two packs. BBTS, HTS, TFCC, all the online places, TRU, Walmart, etc will restock. Scalpers will lose out as more people find him in stores and eBay prices will drop. He isn't an Alt, you'll see him. He is fantastic, 10/10, but not worth eBay prices.
It's not just scalpers. Kids love that character. My 7 year old nephew won't stop looking for it. I'm almost sure that mom's buy this figure at first sight. In my area, I see 08 Bee residue on the shelf. I search eBay for auctions within 10 miles of my house, no Bumblebees.
I feel the same way you do and this started a long time ago. I stopped buying on ebay for most of my TF's and try to buy used out of ebay (on TFW2005 as per ex.) I can't find my G1 reissues at retail price and would have to spend double the price on ebay. With all this scamming and the poor Hasbro distribution I sometimes come to think that I should stop kitbashing and collecting and put my money on buying roses for my wife, eat more at restaurants and buy some luxury instead. But I can't quit, this love for the Transformers is so strong! So the hell with roses! I give her massages for free! (and get blow miles)
Yeah TMI right there. Anyway all my shops are still loaded with 6/2 crap. No sign of any newer waves anywhere.

I think he means the 2008 Camaro not the 70'S one. Yep, I've seen many Bumblebee's at Zellers but I too want the 08 model. And if he's talking about the 70's then there is poor distribution 'cause it's full of them here. Hey BustaJesse, have you seen any Classics Devastator in your area 'cause I'm still waiting for it to show up.
Dude, I mean the 08 model. Assload in Ottawa!!!!! I have only seen Devastator at Toysonfire. I think it is like $80.
This town is full of scalpers, and the sad thing is they all work at Wal-Mart. So the good stuff doesn't even hit the shelves. That why there weren't any deluxes on the shelves other than a bunch of Swindles and Scorpy's on June 2nd. I've got friends at Target and KB toys here, but they haven't gotten any Bee/Arcee cases yet. So I is a sad Panda. I'd totally jump on that bandwagon if the offer's still up.
Relax its just a toy. And being a completist, I'm not overly concerned as well. Its a mass produced toy and I doubt he will be hard to find.
The whole second wave is eluding me. I've got a half-dozen Targets located nearby, haven't seen any of 'em yet. It's driving me a little crazy, but they'll be around sooner or later. I'll just wait it out--I was a little worried it could turn into an Alt Swerve situation, but I don't se that happening with any movie toys
