I "might" get the 3 month subscription and see what happens in that time. If the games I'm interested in drop in price and I get some interesting freebies that I would have otherwise had to pay for, then it will have paid for itself.
edit: I want a free Xbox Slim with this service. Anyone want to trade for a Halo Edition.
$50 -that's what's in it.
They are selling it with "older than my grandmother" incentives. They need to put shit like Medal of Honor, and PSONE Xenogears for me to be like "Holy mother of God!!"
Pffff... lame, LOL!
I'll save my money for Generations Prime and Bee and some new PS3 games
I'd rather get a 3rd copy of WFC on my PC, for portability.
But I might try the three months and see what they do in the coming weeks.
No soy pollo.
All I want from that list is Rampage, and I still have to pay for it.
La mejor clase de gato es un gato negro.
Si pero, you played the Autobot campaign without me. That's Lame Gato.
You get different stuff every month so take that value and hold that over 15 months. That is if you sign up before August 3rd you get 3 free months with the year subscription. There is nothing in that line-up I am interested in at all but I will get it sometime in July so I can get 3 extra months.
When first announced, my interest was piqued. but when I saw the line-up of discounts and the games being offered at the start, I simply couldn't justify it. There's absolutely nothing that made me say "Want it". Really, Rally Cross is the first PS1 game and Wipeout is the PSN game that popped in their head to entice people? If you wanted Wipeout, you own it by now. And everything else was basically useless fluff.
With the PS3, Sony has been so late in the "Gotta have it" game. And it'll probably be too late in the game for anyone to care when they start to offer the "Gotta have it" items in PSN+.
seems like a load of jibber jabber to me.

Penny Arcade! - Incredible Savings
Had I been in that board room, PSN+ would have been a homerun from the day it launched. Right now it's more of a "What can we trick them into paying for" than an actual benefit to their customers. The discounts they offered this week are atrocious and a slap in the face of what they claimed to be offering.
You should hear the confusion among my coworkers about what value you actually get for PSN Plus. Everyone has a different idea and most people can't remember what is free or what is discounted or what the actual discount is.
I hope Sony's Move launch is not as clumsy as this.
But I also played it with you.
Conversationally it would be like: "The best cat is a black cat."
Well the thing to remember is that absolutely nothing changes if you don't buy it. But their mistake was making it a big deal, when it's basically a Sam's Club membership.
And Smash. Holy Shit, last night was awesome (in a non gay way). I'm glad we got to play three players. If we hadn't we probably wouldn't have gotten as far.
And thus makes it the best thing
And here I thought someone was going to make a reference about my Sam's Club joke. But do you fellas have Sam's Club over there?
