    I will be updating this thread as I find new information.:thumbs2:
    Update: I did not write this it is a copy and paste, I put it here for convenience.

    PlayStation®Move offers a new and innovative gaming experience for the PlayStation®3 system by fusing realistic, high-definition gaming along with accurate, intuitive control. Consisting of the PlayStation®Move motion controller, PlayStation®Move sub-controller and PlayStation®Eye camera, PlayStation Move enables sophisticated motion control and immersive gameplay only possible on the PS3 system.

    [IMG]

    PLAYSTATION®MOVE MOTION CONTROLLER

    The corner stone of PlayStation Move, PlayStation Move motion controller combines advanced motion sensors, a dynamic color changing sphere, vibration feedback, and an easy to use button interface. Equipped with three-axis gyroscope, three-axis accelerometer and terrestrial magnetic field sensor, PlayStation Move motion controller tracks the precise movements and the angle of the controller. The PS3 system also detects the absolute position of the controller in 3D space by using PlayStation Eye camera. Highly sensitive movement tracking can be accurately traced back to the game, allowing intuitive gameplay as if the player is within the game.

    [IMG]

    Key Features

    * Works with PlayStation Eye camera to accurately track player position
    * Includes action buttons of DUALSHOCK®3 and SIXAXIS® wireless controller for direct input
    * Sleek and Wireless
    * Built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery
    * Advanced motion sensors in the controller precisely track both fast and subtle movements
    * Color of the sphere's light provides visual feedback during gameplay
    * Vibration feedback is felt during specific actions
    * Bluetooth® technology supports wireless gaming
    * Simultaneously use up to four motion controllers with a PS3 system
    * Charge the controller and automatically pair it with the PS3 system via a USB cable (Type A - Mini-B)

    [IMG]

    PLAYSTATION®MOVE SUB-CONTROLLER

    PlayStation Move sub controller is a supplementary controller, developed to further expand the experience that PlayStation Move games can offer. It can be used in most PlayStation Move games that require navigating an in-game character as it replicates the control features of the left side of DUALSHOCK 3 and SIXAXIS wireless controller into one’s PlayStation Move experience. PlayStation Move sub controller adds an analog stick, directional buttons and two face buttons into the PlayStation Move's control scheme. In addition, the sub-controller contains the L1 button, L2 button and L3 button for actions and commands common in advanced gaming.

    [IMG]

    Key Features

    * Wireless control completely untethered from PlayStation Move motion controller
    * Intuitive navigation of in-game characters
    * Easy and intuitive XMBTM menu navigation
    * Built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery
    * Charge the controller and automatically pair it with the PS3 system via a USB cable (Type A - Mini-B)
    * Sleek curved body design that easily pairs with the motion controller

    Note: DUALSHOCK 3 and SIXAXIS wireless controller can be used in place of the sub controller for all games that are compatible with the sub controller

    [IMG]

    PLAYSTATION®EYE CAMERA

    As an integral part of PlayStation Move, PlayStation Eye camera is designed specifically to work with the next generation of PlayStation Move gaming titles being developed for the PS3 system. When used with PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera precisely tracks a user’s movement and the motion controller’s sphere to help bring every move into the game. In addition, PlayStation Eye camera captures a player’s voice or image and when combined together with PlayStation Move games, will bring a whole new entertainment experience to user only possible on the PlayStation® platform.

    Key Features

    * Engineered to perform in low-light conditions so that the rooms do not have to be lit brightly for the camera to deliver crisp, perfectly exposed video
    * Two position zoom lens for close-up and full body options
    * At 60 frames per second, captures a sharp, clear picture at 640 x 480 resolution
    * Frame rate of up to 120 frames per second for improved tracking, responsiveness and smoothness
    * A sophisticated microphone with the ability to reduce background noise and focus on spoken word for smoother, more accurate speech recognition

    I heard the WiiSpots copy was really awesome, especially the sword and shield thingy. But the brawling game wasn't as cool. They did admit it was super early. Regardless, don't care too much about brawlers. I wan't a 1:1 sword and shield ass-whooping game.

    "Under $100" suggests more than $50, which is still too much. If they're serious about this catching on and not simply dying on its ass after the first wave of titles they need to be selling this shit for the same price as a Dualshock 3.

    Yeah $50 bucks for the dildo is a sweet spot, no pun intended. It's an affordable investment that if it fails, you won't feel like you just bought an entire system that you aren't playing.

    I do like the rechargable batteries. I've gone through a few batteries on my wiimote.

    They also need to start packing it in with every system if they are even remotely serious.

    For the wand, the EyeToy and a game, $100 isn't all that bad. For a full on Wii Controller it's $70. It will really depend on if the sub-controller is packed with every Move controller or not. Having to drop another $20+ on a sub controller won't sit well with people who already went through that with Nintendo.

    This is a 3+ year old system that's playing catch-up with a "new" peripheral. If they're serious about people adding it to their stuff they need to price it competitively. Wii play sold incredibly well (too well :mad  ) given it was $10 more than a standalone remote. Obviously incredibly attractive to that Wii Sports only crowd and beyond. The difference there being that people were already sold on the idea and concepts by simply unboxing their Wii and hooking it up.

    I can't see many people taking such a pricey plunge, even with a reasonable launch line-up, on an add-on that's not garaunteed any kind of support after the initial launch line up. Don't make it such a burden on the wallet and the support from gamers could be pretty good to great, especially with the right drip-feed of software afterward. I think too much emphasis is being placed on the fact this is the best technology which has already bitten Sony in the ass this generation, it seems insane that they would even consider riding that horse again.

    There's gonna be three versions (of sorts): just the controllers, with the eye toy, with the PS3.

    and since no one said it yet...LET THE SHOVELWARE and Wii ports BEGIN

    1 step forward, 2 steps backward.

    Is it me or are the PS3 soley relying on other's ideas to help bring in the money? Not fond of the wands and how they look, im actually hoping for a short lived gimmick.

    I agree I don't think I will be getting this the gimmick seems old school to me now. Maybe because I don't enjoy my Wii that much. I do have an eyetoy already for my PS3 so all I would need to get is the controller but it's a purchase I doubt I will make.

    That Sword and shield game definitely looks fun, especially if it's two players and both people are in the same room.

    Honestly, I still don't feel anyone is "innocent" in this realm. I still liken the Natal to the Eyetoy. Way too similar to not notice it's absolutely superior but based on a similar concept, which in itself has been around on PCs for a while. I can look like Optimus Prime on my PC and I don't even have to pay for it. But here is where the not-copying matters.... Not every new release from Sony First Party is a new FPS. If I had to choose one place where I don't want "me too" copying, it's on game concepts, and that's where Sony is not copying.... well not totally :D

    Wow, I knew this was a Wii rip-off, but I had no idea how similar it really looked.
