A while back I seem to recall some of those Playskool / Gobot toys (Gorrila-bot, speed-bot etc) coming with a packed in video. Has anyone ever watched it? What's it like?

I beleive it was a cartoon featuring those guys fighting some villian who was also a robot.

    Typical cartoon.

I remember seeing one of the episodes included with the toys somewhere out of curiosity, and with it being aimed at really young kids, there was no real antagonists for the good guys to tangle with. That particular episode I saw had the characters averting some natural disaster (I think it was a hurricane) and performing rescue missions. Very kiddy stuff, and pretty forgetable, but I guess it would do ok with its target audience.

The natural disasters were caused by Silverbot and his trouble making. They told him off and he said he was sorry and wouldn't do it again or something. Really kiddie. No fights or nothin'.

"Sure, they're made especially for preschoolers, but that doesn't mean adult collectors can't fall in love with them, too. On the contrary, it's hard not to fall in love with a toyline that manages to be so gosh-darned cute"

    My sex-offender sense is tingling...

I'm so curious that I've started to download an episode. I'll let you all know how it goes.

I saw the video, it was very rescue hero's like.

I think the Black car (typical) was cause some sort of disturbance, and the others had to stop him.

Kinds neat that the Red sports car to turn into either a jet or a car depending on the situation.
