Does anyone here besides me play this with most of the tracks from TFTM playing? It's like it was MADE to have it....... or maybe im just that much of a purist lol
That's a pretty good idea. Do you just have the soundtrack running in another CD drive? I might need to give this a try.
Yup, I posted about it a while back. There are even some suggested tracks to use, like City Under Siege and Shuttle Attack. It works surprisingly well. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...310238-suggestion-360-folks-playing-game.html
lol I've never actually played the music while playing but i have to admit, i have thought about it, guess i'll have to give it a try at some point.
I just stream the soundtrack through my 360 while im playing, best way to do it if you have it on 360, or just run it through winamp if you have it on PC. PS3 will be trickier though as it doesnt support custom soundtracks on that system. Overall teh expereince for me is amplified tons, the default music isnt horrible but with the OST its just WAY better, feels like youre almost playing in the movie sometimes, like on the last few levels of the autobot campaign where you are, you know whating through you know who.
I've been doing it on both. I just streamed it on my Laptop with the speakers plugged in. I've gotten so used to it on the 360 that I had to make it work on the PS3. Also, this makes it to where it doesn't cut off the music during the cinematics.
I guess I'm not following you. Can you turn down the in game music track? And then you're playing the Movie Soundtrack through your computer or something? Is there a way to do it through the PS3 or no? I've heard no, but there are some savvy people out there who may have figured it out. I would LOVE to play this game with the Movie Music.
Yes, in options you can bring down the music only. You can't, however, do custom soundtrack from the PS3 itself, so I just have the music running off my speakers from my Laptop. The same technology when I'd play Hewie Lewis while playing Zelda as a kid, except that you can keep the game's sound effects up.
You can also get a Y cable for audio and splice both audio out from your PS3 and Laptop/mp3player/cdplayer together so they come through the same speakers This wont work with optical audio cables though unless you buy some REALLY fancy equipment But you should get the idea normal audio calbes are really simple
Playing Autobot Escalation, with the battle of Autobot City music, really makes me feel like I'm in the middle of the movie. >.< Its especially surreal when you get to the higher waves, and stuff is flying everywhere.
More PS3 games need to have the ability to play music off of the XrossMediaBar(XMB) is there a way we can let High Moon know we would like this feature...so they can give us a update patch?
This has been really confusing, because the ability to do this seems as easy as night and day, with games like Motorstorm and Stardust being able to do it by simply pushing the middle button and scrolling over to your music. That said, I dunno if it's a Sony thing, or if the developer needs to know how to unlock that ability.
Instruments of Destruction + Seeker Campaign = Awesome Nothin's Gonna Stand In Our Way + Aerialbots Campaign = Epic
