So, does anyone have a solution to this? I have a laptop with a nice screen, and rather than blow another couple hundred on a new TV, is there a device that will allow me to do such a thing?

I used to use my desktop's monitor for my Xbox 360 before I bought a new HDTV. I bought a DVI to HDMI adapter @ Best Buy and it worked great...just couldn't stream video.

What console are you trying to hook up?

There are PC cords (third party) for most systems going back to the NES. I'm sure you can find one online for whichever system you're trying to hook up. If I remember correctly one of the old video game magazines explained that that was how they got their NES/Genesis screen shots. Otherwise, as cobra zartan said, a video adapter should work.

It's an XBox360. And I don't have any inputs other than USB. Oh, I seem to have a Firewire port too... I think.

I need something that supports a resolution of 1024x768. Want to play full screen.
