for those of u who have seen the movie is there still the playground scene?
What playground scene are you referring to?
No, it was nowhere to be found.
from what i heard there was a scene from the novel with sentinel prime and sam at a playground and i dont know what exactly came before that but sentinel says what ur planet requires is more playgroundes
Fuck. I loved that scene...Hate to see it go.
i found it good i read before hand, i thought in general the movie glossed over many things that added meaning to the story,
It was in the novelization. I haven't read it so I don't know the exact specifics, but from what I've read from a few comments here:
After he awakens, Sentinel wants to get a closer look at humanity. He AWOLs from the NEST base where the Autobots are staying. Sam goes looking for him, and finds him observing a playground, and the children playing there. He tells Sam that disputes are easily forgotten and solved on a playground, and that there weren't many on Cybertron. Sentinel then states that humanities problems might be solved if there were more playgrounds.
Yeah but that's always been the case with the movie novelizations, they always develop the store more that it's actually written and intended in the shooting scripts. It was the same for Batman Begins and the same for Spider-Man.
