    To help celebrate what I'm calling PYROMANIA 2008, Valve is offering Team Fortress 2 for free this weekend starting this Friday.

    If you guys experience a lot of pyros running about, that's probably just because we're out trying to get our new goods. I've almost logged 35 hours on that class and we're FINALLY getting a buff.


    So come on and give this game a try if your computer can run it, forget about the laughable console version. My Steam ID is scrubsauce for any interested players.

    So if we download it this weekend will we need to pay for it after this weekend to keep using it or not? I'm thinking I can't run it on this comp but if its free forever if we download it this weekend I'll just DL so I can run it on my new laptop when I eventually get it.

    Oh okay, I guess I'll give it a DL anyway just for laughs to see if this Dell Inspiron 6000 can run it at minimum specs.

    TF 2 is a great game I just wish EA would bring some of these updates to the consoles.

    I respectfully disagree. The warmup animation is just too freakin long for it to be of use. It's the ultimate insult if you can get up behind a sniper tho. I'm actually way more excited for the new weapons than i thought.

    That's the point, if you actually kill somebody in game with that thing it IS the ultimate insult. I liked hiding behind the stairs on the basement tunnel of stage 3 and dustbowel and just hitting it repeatedly till a spy wandered on by-

    Well I had it preloaded, but when the counter went to 0 for the free time to begin I clicked the launch game button. Instead of launching the game though, it instead said it found a locked copy of the game on my computer and told me to buy it. Now i've never had TF2 on this computer, except for the preload I did 2 days ago for this free trial. Now to get the preload I was on the page saying it was for the free weekend, so I have no idea what the heck happened.

    Well after a few restarts of steam the 2.0 days of playtime showed up. Just finished playing around with all the classes but medic, really like the sniper and engineer.

    Damn, my shitty computer can't play it. I just keeps telling me it had to close for unexpected reasons and then crashes the computer.
