I think when people use the term "lazy reissue" or similar sentiments.. I think they mean that they wish hasbro had chosen a more desired figure to reissue.

You are correct. I thought it was a double front stand, but it is actually a single post. I have made the amendment to the video.

Funny enough it was probably easier to see on the video then in real life haha. This was like a mini mp01 which ago has a bad truck mode. But mp10 came out after this originally did as Hts convoy and was like the first g1 prime since g1 prime with a good truck mode.

 

Ditto, I have the other Year of the Primes, this will go with it, hopefully they stop once it hits full circle though.

 

Even with the meh cab mode, this thing is still a billion times better and more worthwhile than its direct predecessor, yotm primal. At $120, rooster prime is, at worst, kind of overpriced in a way that makes me roll my eyes. That Primal, on the other hand, makes ne kind of angry to think about at the retail price it had. I saw that thing at ross and found it too ugly to justify even buying it at a discounted price to sell again later at a potential profit. Comparatively, if I saw rooster prime at a ross for $30 to $50, I'd almost definitely pick him up.
Now to be fair, it's not exactly HARD to be better than yotm primal, but I'd still personally rate this above the yoth prime and soundwave releases just based on the shitty colors those used.

 

At that price I know where they can shove that Rooster.

Maybe. I think U.S. TRU got burned on the last two offerings (bronze/clear Laser Optimus and MP Soundwave...and blue/red Optimus Primal). None of the other sets from this past year made it into brick and mortar (the 1986 Autobots 5-pack, Hot Rod and Junkions, Rodimus Prime and Galvatron). In many respects, the TR box sets should be under the Platinum label...so I think you're onto something.

Kindof a shame as it's a great way to get weird stuff like the G2-ified Triple Changers.
