I'm looking at making a deal on stocking 20th and G1 chrome plated die cast smoke stacks. Is there any interest in these. The price range I'm hoping for will be $10 - $15 US pair. Add your input on the topic, it's needed.

    Thanks...Ken

I'd be up for a pair of G1 chrome stacks to replace my re-issues. Of course the cheaper the better. :)

10-15 for a set of both would be good. The only reason I haven't got any yet is because I couldn't see spending 10 bucks plus shipping for something like that. I'm not anal enough about the stacks. But 10-15 bucks for both sets, I would prolly purchase.

Sorry but you may have misunderstood. It would be between $10 - $15 a pair for either 20th or G1, not both pairs for that.

I'd buy about 3 sets of the G1 ones. Maybe even a couple sets of the 20th Prime ones. I kinda like the look of my grey ones on him with the battle damage... But chrome is shiney. Oooooohhh.... shiney.... *drools*

I'd love a set for my 20th prime! It does seem a little on the expensive side, but I would still buy them regardless.

I'd buy a set, if I had either a G1 Prime or a 20th anny Op. (let's face it, 20th Op's alt mode needs all the help it can get.)

I might be being really thick here - but are you actually talking about die-cast meatal smokestacks?

Yes die cast metal stacks (G1 and 20th) and then chrome plated.

I've already got a pair of chrome plated stacks for my 20th prime, but they're plastic. The durability of metal at that price would be quite appealing. I think I'd be interested in that.

Any idea how well the plating would stay on the metal?

It's actually easier to plate metal, and lots more durable than plasic as well. When I was making repro stacks, I looked into all the options for chroming. Remember, there was chrome on metal ( car bumpers and whatnot ) long before there was chrome on plastic.

i'd buy a set of 20th stacks for my mp-2 magnus who came with really bad scratched up ones. i'd get a set of the g1 stacks too for my hasbro magnus reissue. maybe even an extra set to have around, just in case.

Oooo... I like this idea. For 10-15 bucks? That's snazzy.
