as the title says im going to be picking up leader class ROTF prime (barring finding something iwant even more) and id like to hear from those who have him already for anything i should be aware of when getting on inthe store. transforming it/displaying it other than watch out for swapped out figs which i know about so any advice?

just make sure the box says "Optimus Prime" with a red and blue dude in it and you should be fine. make sure voice chip sounds good, and that, of course, its obviously not 2007 prime

 

You wont regret it. I promise.

 

There maybe Flaws (i haven't seen much and they are very minor )

But, I Highly recommend you get a TF:ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime "if you do not have one already" even, if they do decide to release for the next movie. 

anyway, if you do get him and have "any" problems trying to Transform him, these could help.

Forgot to say something:

If you can afford it and don't mind missing the battle mask...

Try to get a Takara RA24 Buster Prime ( Optimus Prime (Buster) - Transformers Resources ) when they are released instead.

 

The red pieces under his "window boobs" that slide up have to be popped out to transform him. It's quite a pain to get out the first time, but I found a trick. Pull them all the way up and pull it out. After that, you can shave a little bit of plastic off the tab.

Yea this is clearly the only flaw i can find with the figure

 

I've heard that the right foot's ball joint can be loose, but I'm not sure how wide spread it is or how you can watch out for it.

 

I'm not into RotF toys but I heard about a "Buster" Prime coming out...
What is this? and should one wait for that one?

I'm thinking of building myself a JetPrime for my work desk...
