Is anyone else planning on getting the Fansproject set without owning ROTF Bruticus?

I ask cause I'm thinking about it.

The robot designs are awesome and they're on FP's "cheaper" end of Tfs.

I think that pic of Explorer sold me, where he's in full swing with his giant sword.

    Anyone else going that route?

but... the other limbs will be super cheap. Considering that everyone with ROTF sets basically have 2 extra limbs they won't be using.

I'm buying them PERIOD. I love the Swindle mainly. Blast Off is
also cool though. I'll have to buy Bruticus though because this
add-on is to epic to pass up.

I'm highly considering it. I'm about to have to shell out 600-700 bucks for more practical things (which kills me honestly). Depending on my funds, I think I might get'em.

I have Energon Bruticus Maximus, and it's likely the upgrade toys will look just as good with them, if not better. I don't plan on combining them for very long anyway. Those robot modes are too good to go to waste as an arm and leg.

I am getting them for Bruticus, but thoughts of a second set have crossed my mind if money becomes a little less tight. While they look like amazing little figures, the additions to Bruticus make it look like one amazing big figure. I cant wait for some full production combinded pics.

But, if I didn't have a Bruticus, I would still get them for the reason the OP stated, the fact that limbs will be on the market, and the fact that in a while, the price on a full Bruticus (without the add-ons) should settle a bit.

I plan on getting them. I don't have the bruticus set but they just look to good topass up and a sweet deal for $50 a shot IMO.

The Superlink/Energon Brawl and Onslaught actually match the originals better, and Vortex isn't worth paying the extra $60 for.

Even though I have Bruticus, I would have still bought both kits.

I'm strongly considering both, even without a Bruticus in my possession.

Both figures look as awesome as the Warbot Defender (Springer) I gladly picked up. It's almost like not having to wait for Universe 3.0/Generations.

I may grab em, but won't combine them.
    they are nice stand-alones.
price is an issue, but can be dealt with.

Are we gonna have this same discussion in a few months with the Superion sets? lol

Yeah, I don't have that Bruticus set and I'm planing on picking up Swindle and Blast Off.
Universe Onslaught will dwarf his troops I guess but I'll get used to it.

I have 2 ROTF Bruticus and a Energon Bruticus...I will have FP's addons as soon as possible.

I am considering buying an extra set of FP's addons just for the stand alone awesomeness that is swindle and blast-off.
