For something that releases next month, it's strange we haven't seen a color picture.

 

All the jokes about the FansToys Inquisition popping by with a competing announcement seem like small potatoes compared to the banana peel MMC threw in front of PX’s kart.

Or... the secretive PX are busy working, and “it’s ready when it’s ready.” Now, I don’t think they’re quite at the same level as, say, “Valve Time,” but I would be surprised if Ismenios is available this year.

Though, if it is—and somebody really wants to rub it in, you can send me an Isme’ for the holidays to show me how wrong I was! =D

 

Not sure I agree here. Granted, MMC's IDW Deathy does indeed look good. But they've taken hella-liberties on the fig. Ismenios is heavily IDW, almost MP-level accurate (to my dismay), which all MP-nutzoids are enjoying. That being said, people have varied tastes. Some are going to love Isemenios due to his aethetics and IDW accuracy. Others will love MMC's very kaiju'esque and looks great to them. Then there are those that will go for the G1 version of Z-Def.

 

I think planet x has the cooler looking alt mode (the thighs on mmc's look kinda oversized but I know it's cuz they make the bot mode shoulders) but I might be leaning towards MMC in the end. The bot modes got a neat stylized look (including the wings!)

Hard to say ones better outright. Just up to taste imo

 

That's why you get all 3 and your only 1st world problems is which ver. In which color, I will def get g1 d-zef in red giest colors now the idw deathsaurus color dilemma lol

 

I prefer Px botmode with MMC head in Px size and MMC altmode

Last I looked (and there are several IDW source to look at, despite their minor differences), Isemnios has the IDW head.

 

Maybe he's just talking about the face sculpt?

 

Seeing how MMC has a g1 version of theirs(Contiuum), I would like to see Planet X do the same!

Nay. One of the biggest attractions I have with Planet X is that they're not on the MP craze and they're also not on the G1 insanity either. Already waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many companies out there doing that. Planet X starts doing G1, I start losing interest in them as a company (yes, I know I am a minor voice regarding the G1 subject).

Good. Hope to see others follow suite, and it looks like TCP did.

 

Thing is, I think Ismenios already has the more IDW face sculpt.

IDW’saurus seemed to primarily be an affable fop, and was secondarily a space pirate... who was mostly derilect of the Decepticon cause. So, I see him as more like Space Dandy than Harlock, over all.

Thus, I’d caution patience since we’re not exactly hopping with updates to criticize. Maybe the face will look sharper with injection molded plastic and a glaze of paint.

 

Not gonna lie: The extra wing parts really add a LOT to this guy. Really isn't making the decision which to go with any easier.   Maybe this is as the IDW version and MMC Continuum for G1.

 

WOW. This fig was already impressive, now even more! Are those clear wing parts? Damn it. Planet X still holding my wallet hostage since Genesis  

 

Do we have any idea when in November this is supposed to release?
