The problem with battle damaged is that you'll most likely never display in alt mode.

 

Some people will buy this though... I an excellent excuse to get another copy of a figure you love.

TCP is saying the original will have a restock. At least according to their website.

 

It had a matte, dark charcoal finish to it. I don't know know if they changed the material used for this one, but it looked painted to me.

I only spent maybe a minute looking at it because I seriously thought someone had just spray-bombed Apocalypse with some matte gray paint and then dry brushed some silver to pop out the details. It looked good, but Iron Factory's legends class Bruticus was calling me from a few feet away.

 

Considering that the head is completely hidden in that mode, that is an interesting statement.

 

The entire front of the ship is modeled on the dinosaur head, as per the FOC storyline and animation model. So with that in mind I'm seeing a big weird beast thing rather than a spaceship.

I'm not seeing the actual robot mode head.

 

I wonder how that's calculated. If you take off the 3rd party filter and sort by bestselling, you get Thrilling 30 Deluxe Wave 11 Case of 8 as the top of the list. That's without filtering by Transformers.

 

I always assumed that "best selling" meant "help us empty these shelves"?

 

In case anyone hasn't noticed it, TCP has a PX-11 full set restock preorder coming in "soon" (though the listing says ETA is March).

That's.. interesting. I wonder who loves this ship so much that they were able to push to get that made? There's even a smaller model of it for $80 less.

 

I mean, if it's screen-accurate then I might go that far. I can't get over that price, but then again I have no idea if that's market-standard for wooden-carved model aircraft.

 

Amazing work, but for that price I'd rather have Apocalypse. That eBay listing also doesn't show the actual product, just the art rendition of Nemesis (I forget what source). Call me skeptical

Any more in-hand pictures of the battle-damaged version? I am currently unsure which version I should buy. The clean version sort of looks a bit bland but fits better with other figures.
