Has anyone been able to confirm a lighting kit coming with Gammadim? I see it mentioned on a few retail sites but no visual confirmation.

 

Lighting kit? Are you asking if it comes with the LED parts? If so, then yes, it does.

... Bought. I meant to nab this one specifically, since I like the DESIGN, but not as Omega. Wondering what's up with the price-cut on a pre-order though.

 

That's what I want to do. Omega Sentinels shelf. No way I can buy this dude now though, no moneys, and still a bit pricey with import / postage.

Like what this dude has done but with the other versions in there too.

 

I had the original for a while and it really is a fantastic design. You can pull off some hugely impressive poses with it, and it looks incredible if you've got a shelf of legends type figures.

I settled on the YotS Omega Supreme for my collection, but at this price I can't pass it up. I might set him up as one of the shelf toppers; the figure definitely has the presence for it. He'd also look good with my Iron Factory figures, since so many of those guys are IDW homages and thus have a cybertronian look to them.

Also, since we're talking about it - I always pictured Omega Supreme as this big ancient robot who wouldn't have an earth-type mode. The original wasn't exactly trying to fit in, and portrayal of him in the IDW comics is pretty similar - he always look otherworldly, because, well, he's Omega Supreme. So the guardian robots would be the same. They "fit" everywhere because they always look like that.

No idea why the price is so low for a pre-order, maybe PX was having a warehouse clearance or something and BBTS got in on a good deal when they ordered a bunch of other figures?

I took this pic a while back to give an idea how imposing Genesis looked. It really is a stunning figure.

It's a second run of this figure though, right? Must have committed to more units than they've been able to sell.

 

If I had full time work I'd be buying it for sure, killing me to see it so cheap and not have the option to buy it.

I don't know if this is a second run, I'm wondering if it just didn't sell the way they thought it would.

 

BBTS has it for the same price. This mold is several years old, I feel that $199 is a fair price. Wished I didn't paid retail for it.

 

Huh, just clicked there, with shipping to OZ puts it from $199 price back up to $299 making it $AU 400 - LOL. Still a reduction I guess.
