Yeah he is pricey but given the size, nice plastic quality and all the features and playability - It's worth the cost.

He is so well articulated that he even has an ab crunch!

Only real flaw would be that the arms are heavy and can be difficult to pose as some of the shoulder ratchets should have been stronger. However as you can see, dynamic poses are very much still possible and if you are inclined, it wouldn't be too hard to strengthen the joints up a little.

For those interested the Rocket mode is 37cm/14.5" tall from base to tip.

Here is the Omega Rocket with MP-01/04

Omega Rocket with MP-11S Sunstorm (Same height as MP-03 for those who don't have the retooled mold. )

As you can see, it is a massive rocket that towers over any MP.

    He's a splurge, but he's a splurge you won't regret.

It's $150+ cheaper than a TFC/MMC combiner. It also shits on them, due to the price being cheaper and being bigger and the excellent quality and being Omega Supreme and... ;)

Depends who you ask ;)  MMC's or TFC's combiners would have to be literally flawless at that price tag to compare to another figure that's larger, very high quality and significantly cheaper. From where I'm sitting, if I had to choose between Uranos, Rex and Genesis, Genesis would and does win by a mile in every department.

I don't own Genesis (other than the add on head for my YOTS) but I have handled one. MMC's Bovis, if indicative of the remaining bots, is definitely above Genesis in quality. Beyond that it depends on how attached you are to the character. For me, if money was no object I think Genesis is the best Omega out there. For me though, on a budget, I am perfectly happy with my YOTS and the add on Genesis Tank/Head. I applaud all those who can afford this though, its very impressive on a shelf.

I forgot I even bought Genesis. I have so many figures to open, but the reviews on this guy that I've seen are all excellent. The figure in-hand is incredible in terms of scale and looks very well made.

Got this and despite its price. It's worth every penny.

Think of the Macross Quarter or SDF-1s. This is a superior toy for a similar/slightly higher cost. It's a labor of love from the guys who designed this and until I saw images of the original WFC Omega, I had no idea how game-accurate it was.

I got this guy a week or so ago from TFsource and MAN is he awesome

    SO BIG

I am SUPER impressed. I love his alt mode too [and rocket base mode! YES]

ONLY bad thing I can say is that one of the dark grey bits on the back of his thighs popped off of mine and now seems to be lost. Like it wasnt glued or secured in there at all [his other one is still there just fine]

I wonder if I can see about getting a replacement bit or something. Until then I guess i'll have to completely tear apart my room in hopes of finding it and gluing it in there myself or something T___T

Ouch, I would literally invert my home looking for something that fell of a fig this expensive. Hope you find it. I love seeing pics of omega.

I still don't own one. I WANT one, but sooooooo much other stuff came out this year and more to come. Sad sad wallet.
