    eesh, not feeling that alt-mode.

Looks like they spatchcocked him then stuck a cannon on top and called it a tank.

Not really the Planet X's fault, and it may look better in color. But for the time being it's yet another cybertronion alt mode i have no interest in dsiplaying.

Totally agree, but that's how he looks like from the game although the cannon needs to be flipped. Whenever someone tells me "Cybertronian alt mode", it's almost certain they are saying it's crap.

Cannon positioning is spot on. That's the back of the tank-mode shown in the pic.

Hey I dunno, was sent these after the fact. I think they had a mix up at the show and are correcting things now.

Super weird. At least they send this out after, that's really commendable. :)

So you mean spot on then?

I won't buy this but these are the instances where you think fans are wonderful people.

Spot on is relative. I played the game and I didn't get that feeling when he was first rebuilt by Soundwave and even afterwards. The images online though do sometime show him with a small head :(  Oh well, I'll wait till this gets discounted just like their OP.

I actually contacted with them about that, they said they had no plans about it.

    Yet.

I kinda disagree. As much as I love TF Prime, I'd rather they continue doing figures for FOC characters. After that, they should do figures of some movie characters like DOTM Megatron or AOE Lockdown.

I'm glad they have such a strong focus on what they want to do, almost every other company flits from one line to another and it gets annoying. And there are still so many game characters that need a figure that there's no need to move onto something else, as much as I like TF Prime.

They need to do something about those super exposed ball joints on the hips. I'll wait for an eBay flash sale and get this for $70 just like I did for Jupiter

Back when WfC came out, I never found the Megatron design to be particularly remarkable. Fred Tatasciore did a great job voicing him, but this is one of those times where the voice acting pinned this character down for me as 'Generic Cartoon Badguy'.
I'm in the same boat as the others who find this design kind of boring. I'd be more apt to believe he was a generic thug than Megatron. I also find that their version of the Deluxe toys don't scale as nicely with Genesis and Apocalypse to my eye. To each their own, though.

Planet X's big thing for me is transformations. I've liked how clever they've been since Genesis even if I haven't picked up anything but their citybots and dinobots. I'm really interested in the reviews that come out for Pluto. Otherwise, as a practical matter am I the only on that gets a little tired of stabbing themselves on Planet X's super sharp toys?

I unwittingly poked myself many times when transforming Qurinus, I think he's the worst offender. However, I find it impressive that the sharp parts are so incredibly strong.

Damn that's good....I mean, I love the official FOC Megatron figure, but the hands are better on this one + it's larger, so this'll be a nice go-to FOC Megs replacement. ^_^

You're reffering to the WFC Megatron right?

There was never an official FOC Megatron from Hasbro.
