Exactly, and with so many other wfc/foc designs they could tap into they are far from done

Jumping the gun there much? You have to remember, PX isn't a large company. Already it's suspected they run a skeleton crew. Don't expect them to have massive number of releases the likes of say HasTak.

Another thing. If the trend of 3rd party companies in china is true, PX maybe using a factory shared by several other 3rd party companies. Though I do not have any concrete evidence of this ... yet.

Agreed they have been. But I think (and here I'm speculating) it's because they're trying to keep hush-hush about a lot of their projects. 3P market has been flooded with tons of KO's, even PX wasn't able to dodge that bullet with the OS KO of Caelus and now the recently announced Vulcun KO (though, I admit they've done a hell of a job avoiding that bullet for as long as they did seeing only two of their products were subject of KOs).

It could be they're working deals with the factories producing their figs from or could be they have their own factory and weeding out the rats on a consistent basis.

I'll restate that I do think they're running on a skeleton crew. That PX always shows concerns about sales and that they don't have time to address consistent inquiries makes me assume they're running with minimal employees. Again, I'm speculating.

*shrugs* I wish I had more to go on. Here's hoping they do get a chance to entertain our questions later on.

not really. both the insecticons and ultra magnus along with megatron were revealed fairly recently. along with those 4.5 new molds (ultra magnus utilizes the prime mold at its core) planet x still has like 4 seeker repaints to get out. looking at bbts their current preorders are

    vulcun metallic version (repaint)
    fatum (repaint)
    pluto (new mold)
    apocalypse battle damaged (repaint/remold)
    querella (repaint)
apollo (repaint plus new mold armor)
    senectus (repaint)
    neptune (rerelease)
    acis (repaint)
    gammadim battle damaged (repaint/remold)

10 items currently for preorder, plus the 3 insecticons brings their total number of currently outstanding releases to 13 figures. even if they release one figure a month, which we know wont happen, maybe two at a time or so but their release dates always get delyed too, querella and fatum were supposed to release in like june, they still have over a years worth of outstanding product.

Could be a cost factor? Might be that submitting a re-design would either cost them too much, set them time-wise, or both?

Don't get me wrong. I adore my Apocalypse, but I have no doubt they could have done a much better job if they dedicated more time to the project. However, I do take into account what I stated in the sentence above.

its a cost benefits analysis, why redesign something if its good enough? people will still buy it. has/tak use this line of thinking as does every single 3p company. also a company in trouble would not even consider doing rereleases of their two largest and most expensive molds (one of which they originally sold in two pieces), instead they would focus on their standard sizes and get those figures out first to recoup costs. its most likely factory time that is causing delays, these figures dont have large production runs so planet x is probably not a high paying customer to the factory. they simply have to wait till there is room for their stuff in the factories schedule

Dope, these look good. I wonder if they would do some recolors/remolds too.

Wow those are looking great! I really love all of planet x's figures and I hope they are able to stay around for a long time. I will certainly be getting a lot of them. Hopefully they'll be releasing metallic versions of the rest of the Dinobots to go along with vulcan.

Prototypes look great. They MUST make several repaints of each of these so I can build my armies.

Kickback looks the best. Shrapnel looks the worst. The junk on the back is really not pretty.

I already did that with Fansproject's, Generations/Legends, 3x FoC Kickback, and I have 1 each of the FT and 2 of the "value" sets of the BadCube versions for 9 "MP" Insecticons total. What's another set for the army?
