Does anyone know if theres a third party out there whos gonna bring us some junkion head upgrades or something? Right now I have Wreck-Gar, Scrapheap and Junkheap. Not much of a population. lol.

Also, does anyone know is there will be a Hound repaint? Detritus is apparently a Junkion, though he's the only 4 wheeled one I know of.

I've added a picture, should go to show there are plenty of heads that could be made. :)

    Yes there is

Maiden Japan has made pieces to add to Wreckgar and the other two moulds to turn them into other Junkions.

I though the heads were cool and I didn't even realize that they are from the movie lol. I also endorse MJ's add ons as I own them and they are nothing short of pure gold.

Warning, he is a "garage kit" guy and works on each piece on his own. The demand is strong and the wait is long but in the end OH SO WORTH IT.

EDIT* I also love that slightly altered Allicon to look like a Junkion on the far right lol

I am sure that Crazy Devy will steal Maiden Japans set and replicate it for sale at like $40 each.

ALucard, do you own this set?

You can steal all you want. The paint work on these things is incredible. You won't get that from a factory produced item. MJ must have the steadiest hands on earth because the way he applies paint is flawless.

Steal all you want folks because the one thing you can not steal is MJ's talent.

I waited a year for my set and admired pics and built this set up for that year. It surpassed expectations. nuff said!

Well, I just know how CD works. They stole those Pile Drivers from him. So I am sure they will steal this too.

Don't get me wrong, I rather get the MJ set personally.

I got the joke, I was actually curious if you have any of the MJ stuff?

I ask because pictures just don't capture the magic that these add ons really contain.

Yeah, I wanted to get them. Just every time I was ready to pull the trigger, he wasn't taking any more orders.

ordered some stuff from Maiden Japan today :D
but I would still love to see more official versions. Especially a mass release scrapheap. His head is amazing.
also wouldn't mind a few new molds as well, like ATVs and such.

You ordered today? I sent him an email a few days ago. I want a yellow set with chest B but I'm still waiting to hear from him.

Alucard, get an order in and get put on his waiting list. He WILL get back to you eventually and you don;t pay until he is ready to produce.(8-10 weeks beforehand). Once you get these things you will want more and more and more. Just buy up Junkheaps while you can.

I was really disappointed by Junkheap... I like Scrapheap's head so much more. I like the idea of the facial hair but I really would've preferred Scrapheap's head since it stands out a lot more compared to Wreck-Gar.

Sidenote: I like the idea of a Hound redeco as Detrius. Throw in a minor retool for a Mechtech weapon in vehicle mode to make him more Junk-y and I'm game. Ravage can be redecoed as Howlback, or just left out for all I care (such an underwhelming mold).

it does feel like junkheap was a bit .... lazy. They could have done more retooling on the head.

Found this cool heads picture. I dunno Scrapheaps head seems to be covered by MJ. I like Junkheaps head but can see the dislike due to it being TOO(?) unique.

At this point I need 1 Junkheap and 4 headless Junkions to upgrade with the MJ stuff.

Junkheap's head to too Wreck-Gar-y for me. I mean, it's obviously different, but it's so close to a very distinctive head it really makes Wreck-Gar's lose impact.

Let me put it this way. If I didn't know Junkheap existed and just saw one on a friend's shelf, I would just assume it was Wreck-Gar because his head is easily mistaken for Wreck-Gar. And if you don't like Wreck-Gar's (very distinctive) head, then you're SoL if you don't pay through the nose for Scrapheap because the two domestic releases are so similar.

So far, we have six official Junkions (four Wreck-Gar’s).

    Junkyard (Generations “Junkheap”)
    Scrapheap (United)
    Wreck-Gar (1984)
    Wreck-Gar (2010)
    Wreck-Gar (Animated)
    Wreck-Gar (United)

Maiden Japan upgrades work on Junkyard, Scrapheap, and Wreck-Gar (2010, United), differentiating them.

There are a couple of figures that work well as Junkions.

    Detritus (Timelines “Turbomaster” a.k.a. “Scorch”)
    Junkion (2010 Chopsaw)
Junkion (Dark of the Moon Reverb)

Between the script of Transformers: The Movie, the Transformers: Series 3, the Transformers comics, and the novel Transformers: Exiles, we have quite a few named Junkions.

    Arclight (Exiles)
    Ashtray (Movie)
    Detritus (Exiles)
    Greasestain (Movie)
    HAZMAT (Movie)
    Junkyard (Comics, Movie)
    Nancy (Series 3)
    Re-Cycle (Movie)
    Rubbish (Movie)
    Scrapheap (Comics, Movie)
    Shearbolt (Exiles)
    Trashbin (Movie)
    Wasteoid Gamma (Movie)
Wreck-Gar (Animated, Comics, Exiles, Movie, Series 3)

    Yes.

I just wonder if what Hasbro/Takara would actually call her? Nancy isn't really even close to a Transformers esque name. After all it' isn't Rad.

I still can't believe that we got Bike Wreck-Gar, let alone Junkheap, LET ALONE more Junkions. Third parties can do what they want, but I'm done after those two. My shelves are full enough without trying to recreate the whole Planet of Junk!
