Just finished watching the news conference held at the town library. I feel sorry for the families that lost their loved ones here.

The last transmission by the flight apparently had the pilot complaining of mechanical problems to the ATC...

It's sad and my heart goes out to the families that lost people. But I'm already sick of seeing CNN, FOX and every other news channel reporting on nothing but this for the last 3-4 hours.

I was just reading about it on Yahoo News. One of those dead is a woman who lost her husband in the 9/11 attacks.

Yeah, this is a really sad story. She was flying to buffalo to celebrate what would have been his birthday, and to give out a scholarship.

Well I guess my Gfs friend was coming back back to buffalo from where the plane came from there's a bout a 75% chance she was on the plane. So it's been a rough day. She's gunna call me when she gets word from her. So until then :(

The radio broadcast right before the crash was spooky, there was no indication of anything wrong, they just stopped talking.

Sounds like it was a quick death since it only took out one house, it must've nose dived pretty hard. Atleast they did'nt suffer.

Such a terrible thing to happen, many prayers

I'm sorry to hear that, Megatronkicksas.

Hey, did anybody catch the news about the plane crash in London? Landing gear failed. Everybody evacuated out of the plane safely. 4 people suffered from minor injuries, but otherwise everybody's alright. Almost a carbon-copy of the Miracle on the Hudson.

    Dude! That is NOT funny!

On another note, it seems that ice that was building up on the plane's wings caused the crash. At least that what they suspect.

Yeah it's been a harsh day. Thanks.

Come on man 50 people died 50 not one person on my school was un-affected by this. The plane crashed in a freaking house, a house. With people in it, the one who died in the house died saving his mother and daughter by helping them crawl away.
