    The Hut...WTF? :inquisiti

Instead of changing the name, they should change the food to make better pizza.

Eh, doesn't make much of a difference to me. As long as they still serve pizza, that's fine by me.

I've noticed cutesy "official" abbreviations popping up a lot lately, like National Geographic is now NatGeo, Mountain Dew is now MtnDew, etc. Besides this "The Hut" shit, what else have you guys seen?

"Media and advertising trade publication MediaWeek characterized the name change as an attempt to transform its stores into hip hangouts."

    Ok.... Good luck with that.

I think the reason they're changing is because they're planning on adding dishes other than Pizza to their menu. Recently, I had their Tuscani Pasta, and I thought it was really good.

I heard Taco Bell was changing it's name to The GreasePit or AssFire but it's only a rumor.

While this would make sense, there is actually a Pizza Hut Italian Bistro resturant 2 towns over. But, uh yea... The Hut is perfect name....

I first read about this last month. From what I read, they changed the name hoping to attract the younger generation and not worry about the middle and older generation.

But according to the responses from the customers, most have said Pizza Hut pizzas are not as good as it used to be and they also said the resturants and order outlets are dirty and customer service is poor.

I've read this on AOL Walletpop.

Oh man, there's nothing more "with it" and trendy than chcking out a little "Wheel" down at the ol' Hut,amirite?
Seriously, who even goes there? For me to get to a Pizza Hut,I have to drive past THREE different local places, all with better food for less money.
