Got back not that long ago. It had some good lines, some neat action, but it was very Meh IMHO. Seems like they wanted to leave the door wide open for Pirates 4 as well.




SPOILERS: Anyone else think that Will becoming the Captain of the Dutchman was a bit pointless? Bootstrap could have done it, then had Junior serve for a day and grant him "Shore leave" to be with Elizabeth. Additionally, robbing Jack of the Pearl seems like you're leaving the story incomplete just to make the push for yet another movie. If one doesn't get made, then the story ends with him not having the Pearl, which just seems wrong. Yeah, yeah, that makes for a happy ending, but that's the main reason people go to see movies like this.
