Just thought I added some preview pictures of the upcoming PR...looks like the theme is animals with the leads being felines...enjoy the pictures...that's all I have for now.

Massive credits are credited to 牛谷 [不良牛] & cchong420 [ToysDaily]...if I did anything wrong, mods please accept my apologies in advance i.e. I'm not verse in internet rules.

The name of the next Sentai series is Juuken Sentai Gekiranger It's supposedly going to be a combination theme of animals and Chinese martial arts. The primary weapons also lead to this assumption. Red gets nun chucks, while the other two get the same transformable weapon. It can change from a bo staff, into ton fas.

Here's a pic of the rangers themselves. The weapons are also shown.

Most interesting, Gryph...I'm keeping an eye out for these as I like animal mecha...when are the toys coming out?

I like it, but the blue cat has sunglasses on...or at least it appears to have them. I still haven't bought any Boukenger mecha yet. They sure pump these out quick.

I was wondering what this thread was about when I saw the confusing title. Seeing the new Sentai mecha was interesting, however I think it is very ugly.

I don't want to have a go at some thing before I've really seen it but... damn they really look poor, all 3 zords are cats, I like cats but it just looks lazy.

Hate it, but that's ok - I don't need to buy more of these anyway.

Well...I guess the toy creators are running out of ideas and should give the line a break for awhile.

It reminds me of that "Stealth Voltron" Trendmasters did a few years back...And the "big ass ball for a foot" looks stupid. Yeah, I'll probably still buy it though....I have all the other sentai mecha going back to Battle Fever

    That's not a foot, it's a flail weapon.

I think these are among the coolest zords yet. Did you notice the spinning arms gimmick? The old mecha animes used to use that all the time, but the toys never got it to work.

The mecha designs and the costumes look a lot like the older '70's sentai figures...i.e., they look like crap.

Not a fan of the costumes or helmets (especially the black spots on yellow), but the mecha doesn't look that bad. Well, the base one is kind of boring, but the version with the elephant attached looks awesome.

And it seems we're going to another small sentai team this year. A refreshing change after the huge ranger-fests that were Dekaranger and Magiranger.

(and kudos to myself for being a PR fan and not mentioning Zords or calling the Sentai shows SPD and Mystic Force)

Ah, my bad...at first glance I didn't notice that the ball was in front of his foot...thought it was like the Armadillo weapon from Gao Rangers

The initial mecha doesn't look that hot, considering how original the mecha designs usually are. The strength is in the power ups, though. The elephant wrecking ball looks cool, the bat flight mode has potential (which I'd imagine will use those bladed wings with the spinning arms to turn him into a bladed spinning top!). The Swordfish looks like fun as well. Seems as though the intial mecha was kept simple to allow for maximum upgrade possibility - lots of different "armours" fitting over the top of the basic mecha.

Still better looking than the Americanized shit that comes out of Ban Dai. Why gut the functionality? Paint apps I can see, but mold functionality??
