I don't really know in which thread I should post pictures of my Classics Mirage so I thought of post him here. Please note that I'm living in Singapore, a small island located in Asia and not residing the USA! LOL! And yeah, shame on me for not posting the pictures earlier as I was fiddling with my Mugene robos etc.

Sorry for the crappy pictures as my photo-taking skills are very basic at the least:

I missed out on Classics Grimlock because the local community (Singapore) can be real asses at times - most of them are scalpers and are pretty selfish (not revealing the location of sightings until it is to late etc) unlike the fans here - I like the way how US collectors here help each other out!

At first glance Mirage looks really super skinny but his design sort of grew on me...he looks like a super lean, mean machine. Kudos to Hasbro for the following tributes:

    i) head sculpt looks like the G1 version;
ii) "Sparkpug" name on the spoiler (?don't know the part that car) of Mirage's alternate mode.

I soooooo wish that the alt. mode had more of a realistic design, especially in the front spoiler area, kinda like rm mirage. but the bot mode is LOVE!

No problem! I only required a digital camera recently if not I would have shared more pictures such as reissues and BTs when they were first released. I hoe you guys have an easier time finding Classics!

ckhtiger - yeah, actually the bot mode is decent...its just the weapon...arghhh, its like a pea-shooter. If Hasbro wanted to make the weapon smaller, they should give it a sleeker design.

Oh yeah, Mirage's other gimmick is that he can store his gun behind his back.

Could you get a flat shot of the side? The spoiler looks kinda weird from the angle of that first pic.

peeman - what do ya mean? You mean the wheels at the back? If so, the design only allows the wheels to be in that position.

Orodruin - the spoiler is adjustable...I will post pictures tomorrow as it 0040hrs and I got to go to church tomorrow. I didn't adjust the spoiler as I was in a rush to transform Mirage to robot mode. :D

Chaos Incanrnate - I'm not really sure what you want so I assume you want to see the knee joints bend so here ya go:

peeman - this picture will show you what I mean when I say the wheels are not designed to go to the front.

*Forgot to add - this shot also shows how Mirage's gun is stored behind him.

Orodruin - pictures of the spoilers from all the way "down", "level" and all the way "up"! :D

Oh yeah, I want to add that I found Mirage's transformation the easiest among the Classics so far - excluding Grimlock and Jetfire as I don't have them.

Me to, these shots have sold me on the figure. It'll be $10 well spent.

Gotta hate that gun though, really really really hate. They should have just given him a generic gun, that looks like a gun.

Any comparison pics with other deluxes out there? The head/body ratio on Mirage sort of throws off my sense of size for him.

I was all set to not buy that guy as it looked like Calista Flockhart got into the design team. However those pics have changed my mind and I am gonna be a completionist for this line afterall.
