Oh yeah. I'm buying all the Classics. This makes up for my disappointment in the movie robots.

 

So he has a gunblade, tail-sword, and if he can hold his red missle in hand, a red energy sword.

BAD ASS! 3 sword like weapons, he still turns into a trex, and his overall aesthetic still screams g1. Freaking awesome.

 

Very nice - looks like Don based his beast mode on the Genosaurer from Zoids.

 

Very cool! Now bring on Slag, Sludge, Snarl and Swoop.  

 

It looks like a nice transforming Dinosaur. However, it's Grimlock in color and head sculpt only. Too much of a departure from the original. Not caring for it much.  

 

I rarely bitch about TF's publicly, but, to me, it looks too much like a Zoid/raptor and not enough like Grimlock, the T-Rex badass he always has been and should be again. My fiancee will probably want it, though, being a lower of all things Grimlock (and Soundwave).

 

Can't wait!


But the Classics line is finally going to pull the plug on my wallet's life support. Man, I'm gonna be broke by Christmas if the Classics line keeps this up!

 

I've already got them all preordered from BBTs. I'm taking no chances with this line. I want them all!

 

Can he hold his gun/sword with the blade forward?

Kick butt, this definitely surpasses any previous version of Grimlock!

Neato keen. Now I don't feel too bad about skipping Energon Grimlock and Swoop... well, I'd really not feel bad at all if they make a Classics Swoop.  

Personally, I think he looks like a great robotic Tyrannosaurus. Possibly even better if he were posed as a Tyrannosaurus actually stands. I know that's how I'll pose him in beast mode.

 

looks nice....I think ramjet is better though...I love me some ramjet...he was my favorite seeker.

 

like him, but the dino head just aint... quite right. still gonna get him and most of the rest seen so far.

 

This looks great, nice update verison of his old self. The Classic line is amazing and is a great chance to get some of the Old Guys with new update molds, casue i dont have any of my old figs anymore.

Wow. From the early pics we saw, I was really expecting to hate Classics Grimlock. But that is ten shades of awsome.
