All those circular shaped panels made him look a lot like Animated Soundwave. Sweet.

 

Cool. So Soundwave is not the Mecerdes? I wonder what kind of SUV he is then. He looks cool regardless. Can't wait to see a figure of him.

Edit: The enviroments look really nice in the game. Characters look like they need a little more work though.

They're speakers, it's definitely the new Gullwing Merc. Whether he'll be that in the movie is still up for debate but it seems to be edging that way what with game and comic both having the same design and us having seen a listing for a Human Alliance Soundwave.

Though I notice that this version has a con insignia on the chest where the comic depiction had what looked like a Mercedes logo.

 

The speakers on top of his forearm look a bit daft (would have preferred them all being on the side), but other than that I really dig this. It's not as solid as the unused ROTF concept, but it's still a really good design and I can't wait to see what the HA looks like.

 

Okay, IF this design makes it into the movie, and into toy form, there's a good chance I'm gonna want it.

 

I want a toy of that. I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more movie toys, but he's going to be one of the few exceptions.

 

Interesting. High Moon covered up the Mercedes logo with a Decepticon symbol. Back during the ROTF game, Audi game permission to use the actual R8 design and associated logos.

Sounders has been strutting around in this body (and/or a Cybertronian variation thereof) throughout the "Rising Storm" and "Foundation" comics, but I guess nobody brought it up.  

 

Looks great, and there's no denying it, he definitely turns into the SLS, not an SUV. Should be interesting to see how he translates into toy form.

Pretty sure Magno switched him back to his protoform body in Rising Storm 3, if memory serves. As it suddenly lacked the speakerarms.

Still, I kinda wonder if the picture is mirrored, given his shouldercannon is on his left shoulder.
