the review, if I skimmed it correctly, is very mediocre. There seems to be a bunch of strengths and weakness to this one that balances out to an "above average buy".

BB was protoformed with a Chevy logo? ;)

Does the battlemask look really off to anyone else? Did it get changed for this movie or something?

Why did I think there was supposed to be die-cast in this?

Wow, that's actually really cool looking. The chest is still a bit off, but the rest looks a ton better here then they did in the initial pics. Good scale as well.

Some comments from the original post:

    - Clear eyes and headlights
    - Rub tires
    - Yellow and grey are closed to Leader Class Bumblebee, still looking quite plastic-ish
    - Changable fists/palms and arm cannon, fingers can't move
    - The collar "wings" are fixed
    - General posabilities are great
    - Doors are ball-jointed
    - Waist can swivel
    - Parts won't fall off too easily, but certainly you can't throw it around like a Delux toy

All it needs some silver paint here and there, and it would look perfect.

Pretty rad, but I unfortunately ended up canceling my pre-orders for these. Just too much money for me to justify. Maybe if they brought 'em States-side.

Wait a minute...no wrist swivel? Hmmm....that's kind of disappointing.

Wait wait wait. WHY are these things so expensive? They're practically the same as Gundam kits but the internal skeleton is already built in box. 1/100th scale kits, which are bigger than this, are considerably less expensive!

    oh wow.
really nice to see that the entire frame isn't pre-assembled, just looks like a chunk of it is, a la the legs on rx-78-2 gundam ver. 1.5. This changes my outlook on them for sure.
Might just consider picking these up. With some paint detailing on the frame and some clear coat on the armor pieces, they'd make great display pieces.
