damn was hoping for something cooler, oh well the toy is cool. looks like the stripes are stickers.

Sure beats taking the original Deluxe packaging and casting it all in blue.

 

I kind of like the boxes the deluxe figures come in. The window boxes are cool though.

 

I love how one can actually stack these boxes which are easier to store then the plastic bubbles that we get from Hasbro.

 

For the price, it should have been all paint no stickers, but oh well, still bought.

 

Im playing catch up on this... Is it a store exclusive or something?

 

If your feeling ambitious you can trace the sticker sheet outline onto tracing paper then transpose that onto the body then mask the sides of the lines with thin stripes of tape and paint in the gaps between the tape.

It works quite well but it's quite time consuming. you could probably skip the tracing bit and just guess the line placement manually too.

Not as easy as Breakdown to paint but still worth the effort I suppose.

I'm in the process of doing the same on my Yellow AM Bee - but i'm wondering if I should just for fun give him different colour stripes like blue or gunmetal or crimson.

I kind of like him plain though as it make him look like Armada Hotshot more.

 

I know RK and BBTS have put up their pre-orders, but I'm still curious what his JP retail price is supposed to be?

Well, I collect Decepticons only, but I dont need to own Bumbler. Very easy pass.

 

Granted, but it's nice to see an exclusive get its own completely unique packaging. I can't even remember the last time a Japanese store exclusive got packaging this personalized.
