nope, i think he's almost crap. the design just seems very comprimised by the size. he's blocky and boxy and the guns are just way to big. and what's up with where they stuck the rubsign??? (jet mode is awesome though)

yet i think the revised mold is awesome as Ramjet. go figure. heck, in the 'in package' shot, i though the Skywarp deco worked a lot better on the mold too... Maybe Starscream's deco enhance's what i don' tlike about the mold or something...

do they come with any kind of catalogue or any cool pics of comparisons between the classics and the figures they are based off of? i doubt it, but it would be a selling point for me.

Honestly, Starscream's mold is my 2nd favourite very very close to Hot Rod . Bumblebee is 3rd because it's the best bumblebee ever but its mold is average. The transformation on Starscream is very simple yet very practicle and I think he resembles the cartoon a lot more too. Then there is the obvious factors that Classics Starscream has more articulation.

I don't know why but really hate the Astrotrain. The more I look at it the more I hate it. Maybe it's his train mode I can't stand resembles the R.I.D. trains, or maybe its the paint job on him. The white just looks really dry and boring.
    I want Grey g1 Coloring!

*Just 1 question. Why is it that in the pictures where Rodimus is in vehicle mode his 2 back tires appear to be sticking far out from the car itself?

It seems to be part of the transformation that havokboix missed. If you check the pics at BWTF.com, you can see that they're pushed in. They need to pull out for robot mode so that they're out of the way of the folding shin portions.

I was originally just going to get Starscream from this line but after seeing more pics I might change that to just getting Rodimus.
Can you do a pic of Rodimus and Energon Arcee together?

As I said before.. I don't have many Energon. I hated Energon Prime so I voided the Line as much as I could.

Wow, Downshift fits right in with these guys, Hasbro really needs to do a repaint in white with red and green racing stripes and release him as Classics Wheeljack!

too be fair, he was one of the worst figures in the line, mid to late Energon had some pure Awesomeness. Mirage, Starscream, Quickstrike, Sharkticon, Divebomb and Sluglinger are some of my favorite molds ever.

that's kind of funny, because based on pix alone, Rodimus is my other LEAST favorite, because of all the questionable design decisions, like keeping his engine on his chest and his shoulders looking like they're attached too far down his torso... BB and Astrotrain look totally awesome to me.

(also, not saying i'm NOT getting Starscream and Hot Rod, just that they look like the worst of the line to me. Still reasonably on par with the best of Cybertron and Energon)

my hope is that the mystery deluxe three pack from TrU might end up being some guys from Cybertron and Energon done up to fit in with Classics if it's not somehow a seeker-related
