Excellent. Tampographed insignias on the Combaticons. And... and... tampographed cassette details on the cassettes! So much better than stickers.

    Cassettes are a must.

Isn't it strange that the Bruticus/Ruination/Urination mold hasn't demolished itself yet? Things been used like crazy...

EDIT* Yay for pointed shuttle nosecone!

The Bruticus Giftset looks bee-you-tee-full! You could almost mistake it for the original - well, almost... :D

Has anything changed other than the lack of stickers?

Both look good, but the only one I'm getting right now is the cassette pack. I wouldn't mind getting Bruticus, but I'll wait and see if it goes on sale, like most of the other larger Encore sets have.

I just noticed that they painted over the screws rather then using a sticker that's kinda cool just a shame it will end up getting scratched off should any one need to fix them

I'm very happy to see the gold weapons. I always wound up with the silver variants.

Also, note the peg on the ramp, making it a handheld shield for Onslaught and a back plate for Bruticus. :)

Same here, have the Cassettes preordered, but I just can't pull the trigger on that Bruticus set right now. My RID version of the mold is good enough for me now, but if this set where to drop in price like some of the other Encore sets, I may bite. That said I am also torn becuase if the set doesn't sell well initially it may not bode well for Takara/Tomy to put out other gestalts in the future. If the molds where available of course.

I bought two Bruticus sets, because I want to support more combiners, and I have a feeling the set may end up being popular (despite all the redecos we've received).
