Picked up ROTF Devastator at Wal Mart today. How long has he been in the stores? This is the first one I have seen.
Define 'a bit'... Perhaps 2 or 3 weeks is how long Dev has been semi-widely available. He's still trickling into stores and certainly has not reached saturation yet.
i saw him at the beginning of August so close to a month now. i think the US release date was July 30ish.
They were available at my local TRU's since the last week of July. At the time, they only had 2 of them, and the boxes were pretty banged up, plus a lot of oily fingerprints on the "try me" lever. So I passed. Only got mine yesterday, as I decided to wait for a new shipment and get the storeworker to dig one out, fresh from the carton in near perfect condition. He now sits proudly in my display cabinet, and is my favourite TF thus far.

What, so you bought it on sight? If we have any kind of economic impact on Hasbro, this is as good a time as any to make it. To anyone who's wavering on it, I say if you must get it, wait for clearance.
The only way i could have one of this are; falling from sky, gift and a really low clearance like $35.00 to $40.00 tops.
He doesn't even transform. This is the most ridiculous attempt at a combiner ever. Maybe 30 bucks tops for this guy
Sweet, time for everyone to turn this into another "I'd buy it for $...", "It doesnt transform", "It is junk" thread. I am guessing that most people get the point.
He's been out for a while, but here in Florida where you (and I) are, I have only just started seeing him. I saw him for the first time at Wal Mart about 2 weeks ago. Toys R Us had him for the first time this past weekend.
