Today I was able to obtain a octagon shaped lenticular piece with Primus on it and the Cybertron Unleashed graphic. Thought it was pretty cool.
No. I can try to scan it, but not sure how it would turn out. It's display piece from Wal-Mart. They let me have it.
I've always been shocked that there isn't more of an "after-market" on ebay or such for the marketing materials for geek-related items. Way back in the long long ago I briefly managed a video store and I constantly had movie geeks asking if they could have "this or that" standup or poster. There's been a few TF items I wouldn't mind having. No doubt with so much future movie licensed product coming our way in 2007 there will be a ton of display stuff available.
Nice score man. These things make the home display look so much better. Only have a Star Wars display (from Walmart) so far. Supposedly if you see an empty one, you can take it to a store manager and tell them you found in in one of those rolling garbage bins, and they'll let you have it. Not sure if that's stealing tho
I guess it depends.....I am a huge KISS (band) fan, and we are such nerds that promo stuff rakes in tons of $$ .
I have yet to see this lenticular piece at the store, I'll have to keep my eye out as I, too, pick up the "weird" stuff when I can. I've got a lenticular Sunstreaker ring from waaaaay back and it's sweet!
Is this it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&item=290035889725&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 The only promotional items I was able to snag was a booth sign for Transformers Cybertron and a three inch Titanium end cap holder.
I've got a Cybertron Kid's WB shelf talker, large cardboard cut out of Energon Optimus Prime (side of pallet display), Armada thick plastic 'banner' and 2 cardboard cut outs of Armada Prime & Megs (side of pallet displays). A TRU store was supposed to save the Unicron cardboard display for me as well, but they never called me back (after leaving my contact info on the back of the display) to come and pick it up.
