I would keep looking for pics. One will stand out above the rest.

The irony of it all. His proudest moment was right before he gets creamed.

I love the King Starscream a little more, but I know the first picture is the more sensible one in the long run.

    Sundown -

This will actually be one session, either picture. (4-5 hours.)

I got quoted at $750 for that one and it would've fit my whole upper arm, but decided against it to get something else instead

I got quoted 450.00. This is a high profile shop, but I know the owner/tattoo artist.

It doesn't cover my whole upper arm. How small are your arms?
I'm probably getting it done on my back, anyway.

I'm really digging that Skywarp pose now.

    About the size of his
    [IMG]

j/k:lol  But the shop is $150 an hour and they estimated it would take about 2 sessions and about 5 hours

at first i was thinking King Scream, but the other one goes better with your phrase. King makes it look like it HAS come, not that it will come. i know, i'm being nitpicky.

Great phrase by the way. Pics when it's done!! if you take the first one, it'll probably take 2 sessions, overall about 6-7 hours. My Megatron took 9, first to draw it, 2nd to color the figure, 3rd to color the massive D'con sigil behind it.

You'll come back for more if you like the first one...

If you're leaning more towards King Starscream, that should be the one you get. I kinda like it better personally than the first, though both are good. Don't be afraid to keep digging for more pics though, it took me over a year before I decided to go ahead with the pic that I had after looking at many others.

I like the saying you chose to go with it too, reminds me of The Wicker Man by Maiden- "Your time will come"

Tattoo pricing is totally random and depends on the mood of the artist your dealing with.
I got a piece quoted at $250.00 once, I went back 2 weeks later to book the sitting with the same guy and he told me $160.00.

    Personally, I really like Tcracker's pose. but that's just my :2c: .

Both pics are great. It's a win-win situation. I like the first one because it's a full body shot and it shows everything that makes SS awesome.

I like the King Starscream but with your quote I agree that it doesn't quite fit. The first one i don't really like the cone on the back of the head, I know thats how the original toy had it, but i would go with something more like the cartoon. you could just bring a bunch of pics of the seekers and ask your artist to design something. But artists usually charge extra for that.

My brother in-law is an amazing artist, but not a tattoo artist. I gave him a ton of seeker pics and told him to go at it. I will use whatever he comes up with. He's very Derek Hess-esque, so it should be pretty cool and unique.

I won't post the pic, so it will be a surprise. (Not that any of care about me or what I do. :lol  )

I'll still use my favorite SS quote of "My time will come" since I'm not going with King Starscream.

Appointment is already set for the January 25th.

Thanks to all for your advice and opinions!
