I picked him up a few days ago and could not be happier with it.
I'm not usually one for "buy on sight" but I very much did that when I spotted him.
Kudos to hasbro on such a quality re-imagining.

I don't think his legs look like chicken legs at all. Their actually straight, not to mention not having the extra joints to make them chicken legs. They are just offset from the upper legs because of the severe curve of the kneecaps.

Really trying to limit my purchases, but this is was impossible to pass up, esp when I got him half off at TRU!. A little small for a voyager, but unique and a great homage. Gotta love the fins.

Recieved Seaspray yesterday as a birthday present and think he's fantastic, especially because he's much more fitting with the Classics design aesthetic than the Movie one.

If there are to be any more Minibots reimagined in a larger scale then I would hope they are to this standard and not fugly messes like Powerglide.

Voyager or Ultra Class Warpath next please Hasbro!

Aside from a few loose joints, I absolutely love this guy. The sculpt is great, and the flipper gimmick is just awesome.

Ultra Class Warpath? :D ream: Anyways, despite his chicken legs it is an excellent figure. A bit small for a Voyager but I recommend him for the Classics line enthusiast.

I thought I'd e retty lukewarm on Seaspray but I really do like it! Very cool mold, much more poseable than I thought, even with the weird shoulder and elbow joints.

Vehicle mode is killer, love it to death. The Scout Class houing bay is gravy.

Couple QC issues with mine: There's a smudge of paint on the visor thats a little annoying (I'm sure I can take it off fairly easily) and the flipper o the left leg is completely floppy and won't stay out. But honestly I think the flippers look silly any won't display it like that anyway.

It's got most of the colors already, but I would be all over a straight up Geewun paintjob repaint of it.

    Just got this figure yesterday.
Honestly, I'm not overly fond of it. Sure, it's well done and solid, but seems lacking overall.
The alt mode, while interesting in the scout combination factor, feels empty without said scout to accompany it (maybe getting Breacher will change my mind).
The bot mode is a bulky Voyager sold as an Ultra. It has posability and looks good, but seems to be a step backwards as far as engineering goes.
The flippers on mine were folded out once, and will never see the light of day again. I think it's an unnecessary gimmick.

    Overall - 6/10

Some of the minibots getting the larger treatment makes some sense, as the alt modes are 'technically' big in real life, while some becoming deluxes and scouts also makes sense. I'll be waiting for Ultra Warpath or Voyager Cosmos, personally.

^ uh... he IS a voyager, not an Ultra. And being, as you said, a bulky voyager, I'd think he's pretty good for that. The flippers are an option, as no one is forced to fold them out. They are there for whoever likes them, and can disappear for people who don't.
