Kind of an odd time of day to post this, but figured I should get this on here while it's still on my mind.

Could someone take a couple of pictures comparing DotM HA Basic Sandstorm and Classics Voyager Optimus Prime next to each other in both robot and vehicle modes?

I'm thinking about getting Sandstorm's repaint and using it as either Beachcomber or Roller for my Classics Autobots.

 

If no one helps you by this afternoon, I'll take care of this for you. Since you're comparing sizes, I'm assuming Nemesis Prime will be okay?

 

Is there some news of a blue Sandstorm I'm unaware of?

 

It's not blue, but there is a grey "moon buggy" repaint coming out at some point.

 

Yeah, any of that mold's repaints would work perfectly fine (guess I should have mentioned that in the first post, lol...).

Yep. While he is mostly gray, I think it would work decently for Beachcomber (not perfect, but it would work for me). Though the gray deco is also why I'm considering using him as Roller.

Thanks for the pictures. They definitely help. I'll wait for un-photoshopped pictures of the repaint to make a final decision, but I'm leaning towards naming him Roller. It's only too bad that he looks too big to be able to ride on the back of Prime in alt-mode, lol.
