Well here's a lil comparison. The Complete Remastered Dragonball Z set $300 with over 270 episodes. This for $300 for 35 episodes.....Laughable.

I agree its not such a big deal once you get used to it. But as for the timeline. I have always been under the impression (and this goes back to 1998 since I saw most of the episodes within a few months of their original broadcast), that the events of Beast Wars II & Neo were running in the same time as that of Beast Wars (300 years "after" the Great War according to Black Arachnia). Its just that Lio Convoy/Big Convoy never approached Earth (because it was off limits due to Pax Cybertronia), and thus never entered the same space/time warp that the other maximals did. Also in the BWII movie, Optimus Primal (convoy) is pulled through a Dimensional Portal to Help the Maximals on Gaia, which conveniently provides an explanation of where Optimus Primal was after his Stasis Pod exploded at the end of seaosn 1, until he reappearance in season 2 episode 3.

Also the way Cybertron is devastated at the end of BW Neo due to Unicron's return, would be the perfect explanation as to why when Megatron returned, he was able to conquer it so easily setting the stage for BM.

Don't deluxes cost like, thirty bucks in Japan?

If that's the price for their figures, and this is the price for their DVDs, I'd hate to see what one of the Prime Cyberverse Commanders with Mini DVD would cost.

It LOOKS beautiful...but not $300 beautiful. Whoa.
