Wow, that is really impressive. But like a few have stated, I don't see this thing transforming o_o. Its gonna be complicated... Unless EVERYTHING is FOLDED on the back (like really folded up).
I like the gattling guns on the arms; probebly the feature they wanted to add to the voyager version.
Yes but they're moulded on and static, they were originally intended to flip out so his hands could fold up under the engines but a budget restriction put paid to that. This leader version looks as though it will have the minigun pop out from inside his arm as it does on the movie model. There wa stalk at Botcon that his other arm opened up to reveal a missile launcher kinda like that crossbow thing he used in movie 1 at the dam. The leader toys seem to specalise in arm mounted weaponry.
It looks like he might have wrist articulation, which solves that problem! Aww man, I just can't get over how good this figure looks, the proportions are dead on. Can't wait to see some clearer pics and some shots of his vehicle mode.
I want right now!, I just hope they give him a silver paint job instead of grey like the voyagers and since the tats were on him in the movie i wouldn't mind them on the leader.
F22s ARE gray. It's usually not a good idea to make a military vehicle shiny/reflective. The problem is that the voyagers are tan. Get rid of the tan, make it neutral light gray, and I'll be happy.
looks pretty sick! I might have to consider this one, only after I see some better pics and have a good look at his alt mode.
Looks like it could be promising. It seems to be a larger scale, more detailed version of Voyager Starscream. I will probably get this but it depends on the Vehicle mode. If he has those Tattoo`s then i probably wont. Either that or i will repaint him. The Tattoo`s didnt suit him in the film! Although i must admit it does look like it was a Voyager version which has been photoshoped and recoloured.
i cleaned up the photo and see a possible transformation sequence. i believe the sides of his chest are the bottom of the wings arms are bottom of jet. legs are top of jet. lower legs are covered in jet form
If the robot mode is good, the alt mode is definitely good. As for the pic, looks interesting and promising. But then, you wouldn't know whether it'll really come out. Let's just be hopeful, but not too excited.
Hmmm... I don't know.. That photo of "Leader" Starscream looks suspiciously like a customized Voyager Starscream...
