Ok, I'm a retard when it comes to photoshop. How you do cut something out of a picture and overlay it on top of another picture? I know there's tons of photoshop wiz here. Anybody?

google "photoshop tutorial ___" if you wanna use the lasso tool, type that in the blank, you'll get 10K to100K results.

Open both pictures. Use the lasso tool to outline what you want to move, then use the move tool to drag it to the new picture.

OK, I figures out the lasso function but is there a way to size layer 1 onto the background? Everytime when I attempt that, it resize the whole image instead of just the layer that I pasted in.

also instead of using just the lasso tool, use the polygon lasso tool, which lets you click over and over and over, making the tool 100% accurate to whatever shape you are cutting out.

when you get to the edge the screen, just press against the edge, and it slides right over for ya so you can keep going, zoomed in as far as you want :)

and yeah, image/resize does the whole image +all layers

edit/transform/resize will do just that layer, or whatever you have selected

Man, there's so much to learn about Photoshop. Didn't realized it was so complex and complicated. But in a good way.

You have no idea, mang. You could get lost in it for years just figuring stuff out.

Learning Photoshop is very rewarding, though.
