Photography help

    I have a light tent and 3 lamps with "daylight bulbs". I am using a white background. My pictures seem to be coming out too dark. I have fiddled with, aperture and white balance but I haven't nailed down the problem.

    Here is an example pic:

    How can I improve my pics? Also, I would rather not fix these in photoshop.

    exposure? Your depth of field is out of whack too. Adjust focus as well is my recommendation.

    I will try messing with the exposure (forgot about that)...thanks
