"We Have Water" on Mars, TEGA Test Confirms | Universe Today
I read this earlier and thought about you, D_C.
Absoultely awesome. They were pretty sure of it a few weeks back when they saw the ice sublimate, but having concrete proof rocks. One by one, the things we think are unique to our planet are going to be find elsewhere.
That is really cool. Happy to read that they're extending the mission too (I think?).
Yeah, another few months or something.
Let's have a round of applause for the Phoenix!
So, who gets the shit job of tasting it?
Now those are awesome news.
Thats to cool. They also found water on Titan, Sauturn's moon
They found liquid... ethane.
Huge Space Lake Confirmed on Saturn's Moon Titan
Y'know, this is really something that should be top-story news for every media outlet, but I've first heard about it first here.
CNN.com has NO mention of it on its main page, even in the "more news" section at the bottom. The two links under the "Science" heading of that section are about an "exercise pill" and a blog entry containing "ZOMG" in the title. Seriously. Even their main "Science" page has no mention, but hey, it's got a link to an article about SDCC. Just wow.
It IS at the top of MSNBC.com, at least.
Also, @ "Space Lake". Ima get my Space Trunks and go Space Swimmin'.
This is going to be allot bigger that most will ever know. It means that Mars "could" support life in the future. But it also means that their could be life their now or in the past!
Emos are next. Hell, I keep telling them they're not unique, but they won't believe me. This mission will bear me out yet!
Awesome. I still doubt there is life on mars though
life or no life, its still awesome news.
Emos can't survive on Mars, War gods hate whinners.
