phillips mp3 player help needed

    I need help- i have a Phillips SA411X mp3 player and it won't play my files in the music folder. i let my 13 year old niece swap the music files and she may have delted a File (imdex.cfg?) i need. also when i am exploring the device on my pc (Vista) it can't stop searching for files in the music folder and it never finds the files that she put there during the swap.
    i would like to have my mp3 player working monday- i got eye surgery that day and i need my George Carlin CDs. thanks

    I'd format the player and start again, the file system can't be healthy if neither the player or the PC can read it.
