It's no secret that Hasbro listens to the fans, considers our input, and often caters to the humongous market of the diehard fanbase (us).

That said, this is a petition to kindly request Hasbro to consider:

Making the perfect Transformer by remolding the tiny grey neck piece for the next batch of

Classics Mirage, a truly impressive TF. Running mold changes occur frequently and this is easily within the realm of the possible. Would dramatically improve this fantastic piece.

Simply read the below post and

Post here in support if you agree. :thumb

The designer of this TF deserves a raise

Mirage is one of the best TFs ever.
    1) Original transformation
    2) Imaginitive style (great proportions for a look not done in previous TF toys!)
    3) Unrivaled posability
    4) Awesome look in both modes

One tragic flaw: the small grey neck piece should have been a touch longer (and there's plenty of room in vehicle mode to accomodate it).

If it were a millimeter longer:
    1) Head could actually turn to the side without forcing the neck to angle forward/awry
    2) Head would sit a millimeter higher, taking away some of the hunchback look.
    3) The lightpiping eye effect would work much better given the increased neck clearance

All this, if only the tiny grey neck joint was remolded a millimeter longer. The figure would be perfected - and we would buy a second (and third) Mirage!

but I LOVE the look of Mirage, so i will not sign this, because i believe the hunchback neck, gives him character. and i thought it was supposed to look like that?

I heard the neck also makes it hard to get him back into vehicle mode? I'll have one tomorrow so I can decide if I agree with this thread then

I don't have a problem with my Mirage, and anyway, it's well-known that online petitions are 99.8% useless anyway.

I was planning on modding the back of his head with the dremel so he could actually hold his head up. But a mold change would be nice. I'm in. If Hasbro does it, I'll buy another and paint the first in Ferrari F1 colors. :)

I'd rather they put the money into fixing Grimlock's shoulders.

I personally like my Mirage the way he is. So I'm not putting my name down for this. I'd rather see them take the money and produce that Classics Cosmos design, or even any other new mold in the Classics line for that matter. Peace out.

I second the move for a raise for the whole TF team. They do some amazing work. Modern TFs are light years beyond what we had just five years ago in terms of design, detail and poseability.

Actually, I think he meant 100% useless.

There are way more Transformers that deserve mold changes and/or fine tuning than Mirage. Also, I actually don't think Mirage is all that hot.

Was messing with Mirage and noticed his neck is fine, it's the bar behind his head that kinda limits it's movement

No, I meant 99.8%, because there are organizations like MoveOn.org that put them to good use. But to Hasbro? Pfft.
