Or the Megatron shell and figure for that matter.

The inside figures and the Megatron shell were all created by Hasbro/Takara. The ape shell was made by a third party although, I believe, licensed by Hasbro. As such this may explain why the Megatron shell was not used. Perhaps they are still in negotiations with Hasbro on the usage of that shell.

They're no more official than PotP Swoop...

    Good counterpoint!

Yeah, perhaps they are just waiting to use them in future years. Not

? I thought Pete Sinclair acquired these shells on his own time and Hasbro has no interest in stopping anything at this unofficial convention.

what I meant was that the Monkey shell was created by Boss Fight Studio but the Megatron shell is the Grand Maximus shell repainted.

but as Insane Galvatron pointed out, probably irrelevant as they're also using Swoop

If it's run the same as the BotCon custom classes (and it's all-but guaranteed to be), they don't insist that you have to paint your toy to match their suggestion. You can go wild if you want.

This convention needs voice actor guests. I live only an hour from this and would love to make the drive for guests.

What is the dealers room like? I’m curious what is sold in it? Current lines? Older products? 3rd party? Parts of bots? Ko?
Anyone have any insight from last year?

Here are a few pictures I took of the dealer room last year.

I think it was mostly official Transformers, mostly newer stuff, some 3rd party. It was a bit small, being its first year, but if you're in the area, I'd say it's worth a trip. I doubt it will be as big as TFCon, but a trip to Newport, KY is surely cheaper than a trip to Chicago, so there's your trade-off.

    Oh yes, that is cute!

Actually quite like this deco. Back to the same mantra as with BotCon; wish I could afford to go, lol!

Did Dan Khanna do the box art for any of the box sets? The wiki only lists his comic work.

So those are the guys responsible for all those exclusives that have been hurting my wallet over the years.
