While I know this isn't exactly Transformers news, I thought it was still relevant. Peter Keefe the man that produced Voltron has died from throat cancer. FOXNews.com - Voltron Producer Peter Keefe Dead at 57 Voltron was one of my favorite cartoons as a child. This is very sad news for me and my condolences go out to his family.

    :(

I'm in the process of watching GoLion and Dairugger XV to help me understand why they were modified for America.

I was immediately struck by how memorable and powerful the theme music for GoLion isn't. Mr. Keefe had talent. I also offer my condolences.

It has not been a good week for 80s cartoons, that's for sure.

Rest well, Mr. Keefe, on your "faraway planet for medical treatment".

Because that's how it works. You realize that Peter Cullen is a senior citizen (66) right? And Frank Welker isn't that far from being one (64).

thank god you posted in a NON-TRANFORMERS area of the boards.
this isn't a transformers movie forum. so why the apologetic start?

on topic, it is indeed sad news and i send my warmest and best wishes to his family.

I said that at the start because it was originally posted in the news section. It was moved down to this forum.
