    Peter Cullen is so nice!

I remember him during his Panel at Botcon 2010 answering a question about Optimus being not himself in ROTF, he simply said Optimus will always be Optimus, and basically said he didn't see it as out of character.

I got the chance to meet him there and he called me a "Sweetheart" how many girls can say that!? *gets stampeded by Optimus fangirls* XD Just from meeting him for a few memorable seconds, you know he has a kind heart and he is so grateful and thankful towards the fans.

Here hoping he will be playing Optimus for many more years!

I kinda wondered if Cullen, during the recordings, asked the people in charge to maybe change those lines of "we'll kill them all" and "you die". I was shocked that he actually said them, more so the "you die" than the other.

I think he meant stuff like "sorry, my bad" not like cracking the wise or making puns during battle.

Good God, Peter Cullen is such a charismatic person.

He was definitely the right pick to do the voice of Optimus in the movies. Yeah, I've said before that it kinda gets stale to hear Optimus being portrayed by Cullen after so many years, but right now, I really wish I hadn't said any of that. His portrayal in DOTM was definitely one of Peter Cullen's shining moments, and definitely one of the best portrayals of Optimus, PERIOD.

As for that cameo, I seriously wanted to see this (back when we were all speculating on the "public against Autobots taking refuge on Earth" stuff):

Optimus, in robot mode, accidentally gets in the way of a red-and-blue cab-over Peterbuilt. The truck driver, who would be Peter Cullen, storms out and starts getting arguing with Optimus (who is trying to keep his cool), but backs down and leaves when Optimus gives him the stink-eye.

Peter gave this character a voice, help brought life to the character...

But Peter did not originally write this character, he did not create this character.

Peter saying he feels Optimus is not out of Character in the movies is his opinion....and nothing more.
"Growing up" has nothing to do with this issue.

I am speaking with a "clinical evaluation" point of view.

The whole Frances McDormand really got to me. Cullen's just a damn nice guy who really appreciates every opportunity he gets- he's probably the perfect person behind a perfect voice.

Peter Cullen is awesome Nuff Said.

I like that he was able to interact with the rest of the cast. Espicially with Frances McDormand.

I'm a Ninja Turtle nut, especially of the first live action movie, (I can't believe it's been over 20 years!) but, the actors that did the stunts for the Turtles had cameos in the movie. They could have pulled something similar for the voice actors in the Transformers flicks.

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT!!! Those scenes need to be filmed right now and inserted into the special edition that'll come out 20 years from now!! :D

I remember before the movie came out that there was an interview with Cullen where Bay had him say something that he didn't like. Then, when he saw it in context, he said, "That does work." I can only assume it's the "We will kill them all line."

I'll never be able to find that article.
