Cullen told Reading Eagle he has begun work on ROTF a few weeks ago, and while tight-lipped on plot details, he does discuss Bay's spontaneity in the recording sessions as well as the bigger budget allowing Prime to have a bigger part. I assumed recordings for the first one were done during post-production in 2007, so this bodes well for more robots.

I kinda like this news if only because it seemed the first movie did most of their robot voice recording rather late in the game. Hopefully this indicates a little more thought will be put into what the robots are doing and saying this time around (dialog and such, not just action sequences.)

Hopefully, one day, I'll get to meet this guy and get an autograph on my MP-01 box. Does anyone know if his brother Larry served in the Canadian or American Marine Corp. By the sounds of it I would think it was the U.S., but you never know, Peter Cullen is pretty Canadian.

US Marine Corps, because his brother served during the Vietnam War. I believe Australia and New Zealand were the only Commonwealth countries to fight in 'Nam.

I think that picture of Cullen holding Prime's head is rather symbolic actually, Cullen looking into the face of his own character.

It's great to know he's already at work recording his lines! Really looking forward to hearing your Prime voice again next year Mr. Cullen!

It will be great to see and hear the voice of Prime and the rest of the bots in the next movie as well Tyrses and the Captain from the first movie. Everyone else, could do without.

I'm guessing there's a pattern in the transformers movie openings, this one will also open with a Prime's speech

Open and close. Prime speechifies both times.
